Cardiovascular CT Imaging
Recent Course Reviews
Dr. Bhasin and the cardiac CT course was an incredible foundation for my start of cardiac CT imaging education. His lectureship and knowledge base is incredible and I truly feel he is now one of my mentors. I was easily able to get the required number of cases (although this course is intense so be ready for learning!!) at the same time see a wide range of pathology that I have now in my arsenal. I highly recommend this course to others.

Excellent course. I would highly recommend this to any cardiology fellow, even if they do not anticipate reading CTs in their practice. A valuable exposure to adult congenital heart disease specifically, but this course provides more than comprehensive overview of pretty much all cardiac pathology. Dr. Bhasin is an excellent instructor and makes learning CT a real pleasure.

Dr. Bhasin’s course is excellent. He is a true content expert and has compiled an impressive list of quality teaching cases to challenge both novice and expert readers. Virtual workstations worked flawlessly and allowed seamless interactions. I only wish I had taken this course earlier in my training to help me master thoracic anatomy sooner.

Dr. Bhasin is an excellent teacher! He made it easy to understand his systematic approach to interpreting CT and apply it independently with quick feedback. He made a busy week of learning very enjoyable.
This course design was incredibly practical and covered an enormous range of information. I would highly recommend it for anyone interested in learning how to interpret cardiac CT. I was very pleased with the online format and the rich learning environment that it created.

Dr. Bhasin is great mentor who will teach you a complex in an easy-understanding and comprehensive way. Before the course, I had very little experience on reading cardiac CT. After the course, I feel comfortable to read basic coronary and thoracic CT for coronary anatomy and thoracic vessel and cardiac related structures by using his unique “vessel walking” algorithm. This course also covers the topics of grafts, congenital diseases, which Dr. Bhasin would walk you through systemically to evaluate most common CHD.
Other than lots of interesting case-oriented didactics, the course will also give you latest updates on cardiac CT and you will have lots of exposure to CT films of the variety cardiac pathologies.
Dr. Bhasin will share his own practical experiences on complicated cased and his lessons during his 15-year practice as a cardiology attending.
Overall, This is a great 7-day course, in which you will learn a ton of basic skills and knowledge regarding cardiac CT without feeling overwhelmed. The virtual classes actually make your study more efficient and avoid all travel-related stress. This may be some positive aspect from COVID-19 pandemic :))
Overall a great CT course!
I was able to do the course virtually from home and it really worked well. Here are the highlights of the course:
1) Virtual interaction was better than I expected, able to each have our own remote desktop to access cases and then share cases with other team members and the instructors.
2) By the end of the course you become comfortable with vessel walking the coronaries and really do it in a systematic fashion.
3) Became comfortable with acute aortic syndromes and vessel walking the peripheral vasculature too.
4) Using 3D recon and practicing cases, I really got a better appreciation for congenital heart disease, and as well the EP cases.
Finally, instructor Dr. Bhasin has a great compendium of cases and he is a great teacher to spend the week learning Cardiac CT.
This is an excellent cardiac CT course which was conducted via Zoom because of the Covid pandemic. Dr. Bhasin is an excellent and patient teacher who is very knowledgeable and skilled in this area. There was the opportunity for active participation during the course. Being a radiologist, I definitely got what I was looking for in terms of looking at the coronary arteries but I got extra interacting with a cardiologist. There was good engineering support hence all IT problems were solved immediately. There is also a great data base with a diversity of cases to practice as many cases as you desire. I really appreciated the addition of Dr. Maroules, who gave a different approach as a radiologist. Thanks and keep up the great work.
This was the first time I attended an online course and it was great indeed. The course was very interactive despite sitting at home. Dr. Bhasin is an extremely good teacher and goes the extra mile to answer all the questions. The best thing about him is that he trains by the method of example. He not only focuses on coronaries but also teaches complex congenital and structural cardiac cases. There is an additional benefit that one can access the correlation case files (cath films and echo) during the practice sessions. The course is a great source for fellows and physicians who are interested in learning the clinical aspect of CT cardiology. Highly recommended!
Truly innovative and fantastic design. Strong recommendation for this course to save money and travel time.
In fact, you have more experience with buttonology as the program is open til 11 pm every night. Also you get an additional Saturday and Sunday to work on cases.
Mohit Bhasin was excellent.
Excellent CT course! I attended the course during the COVID pandemic so the course was performed through Zoom and through a remote desktop application. We had formal didactic sessions and the opportunity to practice cases live with Dr. Bhasin’s supervision. We had our own screen that we could share with the group at any given time and practice both individually and as a group. The technology allowed for everybody who wanted, to take the mouse and demonstrate to the group how to read the CT.
Dr. Bhasin!
Thanks so much for everything that you are doing! It is a wonderful course and I believe all fellows should get Cardiac CT training as they start fellowship to have a better understanding of the anatomy and 3d viewing. You are a passionate teacher and thank you for taking your personal time out on a Sunday (also happened to be your son’s 16 BD) to help us out. I am more confident now to read them and I am pretty sure I can show off in front of my attendings who have no expertise in this area 🙂
I was initially skeptical about the virtual course, but I think it’s really awesome and saved us a lot and could spend time with our families. I am really looking forward to doing this in the long run.
Fantastic course! Dr.Bhasin is a gifted clinician and teacher. He makes it fun to learn CT imaging. I was quite satisfied with the case diversity (especially the congenital HD cases). I attended the first ever “virtual” course. In the end, I am totally convinced that there is absolutely NO REASON to attend an in person course, ever! The web-based platform was seamless. The didactics via Zoom were quite straightforward as well. Plus, I did not have to step out of my house, I had access to the images 0700-2330hrs daily (plus 1.5 days over the weekend!). I would definitely recommend the course to everybody who is interested in gaining experience in cardiac CT.
Dr Bhasin is a wonderful educator and is definitely the person to walk you through Cardiac CT (from simple coronaries to more complicated congenital). I would highly recommend his course to any cardiology fellow looking to obtain level 2 CT certification. We did our course entirely virtually (due to COVID) from the comfort of our homes which was also a huge plus!
Thank you for a wonderful course. It was highly practical and comprehensive. The didactic portions were informative and entertaining. There were a wide variety of cases with plentiful hands on practice. Dr. Bhasin clearly cares about educating and helping physicians achieve their goals. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to read cardiac CTs.

Excellent, superb, outstanding Cardiac CT course. Dr Bhasin is a highly dedicated, knowledgeable and gifted teacher and clinician. The case selection is diverse and varied and it never gets boring. There are ample hands on opportunities. I think this is a course every cardiology fellow or a practicing clinician should take as it teaches important pearls on practice of medicine as well.

Thanks Dr. Bhasin for a wonderful , engaging, comprehensive, and extremely entertaining course. I learned a lot, not just about imaging but from your life experience as well. Your passion to teach, treat and do what’s best for your patients is self evident! I would highly recommend this course to fellows and attendings alike, hands down one of the best courses I have been to. Wishing all the best in your exciting future endeavors as well. Stay in touch. Best regards

Dr. Bhasin,
I just wanted to thank you again for the amazing experience at the CT course last month. I came to Virginia to learn cardiac CT and left with not just a great skill-set, but I also became a better clinician. Now I feel like I know what I am looking at when reviewing patients’ scans, and this has greatly improved my clinical practice. I am confident I will enjoy this skill during my cardiac electrophysiology fellowship.
I will definitely keep in touch and hope to talk to you more once I get settled in my fellowship about getting involved in your online imaging practice to further improve my training.
Thanks once again for all you do.
I spent 5 days at Dr Bhasin’s Cardiac CT training course. This was one of the best courses I have attended during my fellowship. There was ample opportunity to review as many CT scans as we wanted. The lectures were excellent and covered many aspects of clinical cardiology as well as the CT curriculum. The staff was approachable and helpful. Dr Bhasin is an excellent imager and an amazing clinician. Excellent course.
It is an absolute necessity for all cardiology fellows before they graduate, whether they pursue a career in cardiac CT s or not. I, have, for the first time in 3 years of my cardiology training, understood the complex cardiac and thoracic anatomy in its entirety. I am comfortable reading coronary CT angiograms and call the degree of stenosis as one would see in an invasive coronary angiogram. We had enormous exposure to aortic syndromes and PE. I had the opportunity to review complex pathologies and correlate with clinical information, cath images, and operative reports. Mohit Bhasin was an excellent teacher and a great mentor.
An excellent course which covered a broad range of imaging pathology, and tools and techniques for thorough interpretation. Dr Bhasin took great efforts to correlate imaging findings with clinical findings and outcomes, which brought this sub-speciality to life. He did so in a lively and entertaining fashion; and I really feel like I learned as much about clinical and humanistic skills, as I did about cardiac imaging. This course should be a required ‘finishing school’ for cardiology fellowship.
This is the fourth level II course I have taken and is by far the best. Dr Bhasin is an outstanding teacher with intense dedication to teaching. His case selection and pathology is extremely diverse. I took the course as a review to keep current and learned more from this course than any previous course. I would very strongly recommend this course to any one interested in starting to read CTA or as a review if volumes are not enough to maintain level II certification.
Dr. Bhasin is a natural teacher who has a lot of enthusiasm, energy and insight in the field. I worked my butt off in his class and learned more in five days (probably 70 hours) than I thought was possible. He also answered esoteric questions I had about techniques in both MR and CT. He provided evidence based medicine and current literature whenever possible and was equally welcoming to both Radiologists and Cardiologists in the course. Awesome A+ experience. I will do this course again in the future.
Dr. Bhasin gave an outstanding Cardiac CT course. His teaching is excellent and I feel comfortable reading and picking up obvious pathology in Cardiac CT. This would also be a great introductory course for all fellows and hope that he continuous to share his knowledge with us. I highly recommend this course to all cardiology and radiology fellows across the country.
All aspects of the course were amazing. It’s very well priced and affordable for a fellow. The teaching is very interactive and focused. I cannot think I could have possibly learned so much in 5 days. The best aspect is hands on involvement with reading scans and translating theoretical knowledge into practice straight away.
Dr. Bhasin’s course is a “must” for fellows looking to gain competency in reading cardiac CT. Taking this course will help fellows understand the appropriate clinical use of cardiac CT, the basics of CT coronary angiography, cardiac anatomy and morphology, and the use of cardiac CT as a diagnostic tool for Acute Aortic Syndromes, TAVR and Congenital Heart Disease. Dr. Bhasin’s teaching style makes learning CT and its use fun and interesting. Even though his course training is intense, I was always engaged and intrigued. His clinical anecdotes and life advice are also important for senior fellows to hear prior to going out into practice. I highly recommend this course!
I am very impressed. The course director is very energetic and has an amazing teaching skills. What I like the most about the course is the focus on the patient outcome. It teaches in depth the principles of cardiac CT imaging. I think it should an essential part of the training of all cardiology fellows. On of the best courses I attended.
This was a fantastic course. Dr. Bhasin is very energetic and an amazing teacher. Not only do I now feel facile with interpreting Cardiac CT and using the workstation, I also feel like I learned a lot about cardiovascular disease in general. Dr. Bhasin is really dedicated to fellows education and puts his all in to the course. Its the best training course in any specialty that I have ever been to. I highly recommend it.
The Cardiac CT course by Dr. Bhasin is excellent. You get more than you expect in terms of didactics, technical training and sample cases that you would have never seen before. Would highly recommend for anybody who is looking for a great learning experience.
I heard amazing things about this course before I attended and it far surpassed my expectations. Mo has a mastery of the topic and is an incredible teacher. It was excellent preparation for my CT reading as well as my future interventional cardiology fellowship. Moreover, it significantly improved my understanding of coronary disease, structural heart disease and congenital heart disease. Definitely worth the money and time.
Preparing for multiple board exams, I have taken a number of courses to prepare. This course is the best for a number of reasons. Besides the excellent training in reading CT scans, I feel I also received great review in congenital and aortic pathology. The course director’s manner of teaching is comfortable and laid back which lends itself to an open discussion of the technical aspects of CT. I also enjoyed the additional perspectives regarding the overall practice of medicine and caring for patients. I highly recommend this course.
Excellent course. Great value for money. More than adequate for Level 2 Cardiac CT course. Highly recommended.
